WHAT WE DO

Our rewilding initiatives

Rooted in two pillars – ’Wilder Nature’ and ’Nature for People’ – our rewilding initiatives span three interconnected strands. Within these, we restore habitats for keystone species and natural processes, deliver educational programs, foster nature-based enterprises, and strengthen communities to preserve culture, enhance well-being, and promote recreation.

“Nature´s strength lies in its complexity. Rich wildlife with high functional impact requires a diverse mix of habitats and extensive blue-green connectivity.

In degraded areas where nature alone can´t restore this balance,
Rewilding Sweden intervenes – supporting recovery in forests, wetlands, and rivers what we call waterscapes.”
